Solo traveler seeking comfort

The historic tour was fascinating, and I was really impressed with how clean the room was. Jenelle, the hostess, made a gluten free breakfast that was hot and arrived right at 8:00, perfect timing that helped get my day started on the right foot.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you know, it was still acceptable.

I almost thought this place woudl be amazing, but the shower pressure was a disaster, like a drizzle on a good day. Also, the breakfast was served lukewarm, as if I was eagerly awaiting a marketplace treat. I can’t believe they didn’t offer any special treatment for my troubles. Extremely disappointing for such a supposedly classy place.

This place is a hidden gem! I stayed in the Superior Queen Room for four nights and was thoroughly impressed. The breakfast served promptly at my door was hot and gluten-free, thanks to the thoughtful hostess. The room was clean, and the comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep. Don't miss the historic tour—it’s fascinating!

Cozy room with great views!

The estate has a charming ambiance, and Jenelle's knowledge of its history adds a personal touch. I loved the spacious room with plenty of windows to enjoy nature. Breakfast was served on time, hot, and tailored to my dietary needs. It would have been better with regular housekeeping.

We truly enjoyed the serene garden area. Janelle's hospitality was remarkable with in-room breakfast tailored to our requests. The location is peaceful, perfect for family getaways.

The bed comforter was a bit too heavy for warm nights. some fresh towels could have enhanced our experience.

Water pressure in the shower left something to be desired. The heavy comforter made sleeping uncomfortable in the heat, and a lack of garbage pickup during the stay was a bit disconcerting. The beds felt lumpy and could benefit from some upgrading, and one room had sunlight streaming in at dawn, ruffling morning attitudes.

However, the shower's water pressure was less than ideal, and a missed opportunity for regular housekeeping marred an otherwise enjoyable experience.
